The Chen group is interested in the design and engineering of functional nanomaterials and their electron-transfer chemistry, with the goal of exploring their applications in nanoelectronics, chemical/biological sensing, electrochemical energy technologies (e.g., fuel cells, batteries, and water splitting), and antimicrobials.
